The Hotel Lindauer Hof is situated directly on the lakeside promenade, just a few metres from the old lighthouse and the historical town hall.
- Arriving by car
Coming from Munich, take the A96 motorway right through to Lindau, then follow the signs to the island “Insel”. Coming from Stuttgart, you can take the A7 via Ulm. A much more scenic way to arrive, however, is to start out on the A8, then leave the motorway by Hohentwiel north of Singen, and take the B31 along the beautiful north shore of Lake Constance. Coming from Austria or Switzerland, we recommend the well-signposted route via the Rhine Valley motorway A14.
- Arriving by train
Lindau central station is easily accessible from all directions. The station building is located directly on the harbour, and the Lindauer Hof is less than 5 minutes walk away. Please let us know in good time if you would like help with your luggage.
- Arriving by plane
The nearest international airports are in Zürich, Stuttgart and Munich. The regular services to Friedrichshafen airport are mainly German internal flights. We would be happy to arrange an airport transfer for you.
