With 16 different circuits and 170 climbing features ranging from 1 and 15 metres in height offering an unrivalled adrenaline experience, this is the largest highwire complex in Europe.
Overlooking an alpine lake in the heart of the Alpsee mountain region between Immenstadt and Oberstaufen, the Bärenfalle Climbing Forest, located on a ridge at an altitude of 1,100 metres, is the largest highwire complex in Bavaria.
When tackling the Climbing Forest’s highest circuit, the ascent is achieved via a giant wooden ladder. From this point you swing off from tree to tree across the forest at a dizzying speed. There’s something here for every age group. From 3 years of age, for example, children can enjoy the exciting Kiddy Course for 3 - 5 year-olds.
The Bärenfalle mountain hut is located in the immediate vicinity, as is the Alpsee-Coaster, Germany’s longest all-year toboggan run.
Another extra tip is the Alpsee Mountains combi ticket, which includes the ascent on the chairlift, fun in the Bärenfalle Climbing Forest and a ride down on the Alpsee Coaster.
